3rdwitness - Watchman throws in the towel

Robert King issued a challenge then cherry picked what was said in answer to his challenge and answered only what he wanted to.

He failed to answer what the Apostle Paul said at Galations showing that:
Faithful Jerusalem = God's people
Unfaithful Jerusalem = not God's people.

He refused to answer John's Revelation where he sees Babylon the Great destroyed by the beast and all the mourning over her by the rest of this world system's entities.

The he goes on to try to show the treachery of Al. Finally he concludes with.

I don't need to say another word.

How often do you see someone issue a challenge and then ignore the words in answer to the challenge? You've just seen it in Robert King. Take note posters at e-jw and others. He cannot refute the answers given to his challenge. He only attempts to refute bits and pieces that he chooses. He ignores what he can't refute.

Robert King is a sly apostate alright. It reminds me of another one who made a challenge. Satan issued a challenge to Jehovah concerning Job and all of mankind. Job served as an answer for Jehovah. Jesus served as even a bigger answer to Satan for Jehovah. JWs today also serve as answers to Satan. Satan of course refuses to accept these answers from Jehovah, ignores the answers, and just continues to spew out his poison.

Is Robert King god-like or devil-like?

BroR -

Its much easier than this actually. He can NOT refute the fact that Christendom *did* leave the covenant.

History is plain, many of the real Christians apostitized and even early "apostilic father's" writings confirm this. Especially that of Irenaeus and Valentinus. Valentinus turned apostate by creating the following of Gnostics. Irenaeus actually wrote 5 books in rebuttal to this "heresy." Irenaeus studied under Polycarp who in turn studied with John. What is even crazier is the fact that even Irenaeus teachings in his writings at times contradicted what the Scriptures taught--showing he too was being influenced by this Great Apostasy. Nevertheless, he put up a nice fight against the more obvious apostasy in trying to keep the congregations clean in the early days. No doubt many followed this Gnostic following as well in its many variants. That is just part of it, this does not include other forms of apostasy!

Indeed, "those leaving the holy covenant" would have to include Christendom, otherwise you are leaving out a huge part of history. Knowing just THIS simple fact, watchman's theology is refuted and lacks basis saying "unfaithful Jerusalem" is the Watchtower Organization.

The he goes on to try to show the treachery of Al.

Yeah, it was terrible of me, lying to him for all those months. Trying to cover up the truth whenever he asked me questions about it.

Oh, hang on a minute - I got us the wrong way around - that was YOU, Robert!

Smile

add BroR's point to the long list of things he won't address...
I actually tried to address each of his parargraphs partly in hopes that he would feel compelled to address all the points raised here on the "Challenge" thread....

now I'd be happy if any of them would address just 3

mine above about Ephesians and 1 Thess 5 Ch...

3W's about faithful and unfaithful Jerusalem and Galatians

and now BroR's about Christendom and the apostasy...

....don't hold your breath...the only things left to say for them will be more absurdity than TK's Jehovah's name is Jesus thread at that apostate web site....

so much for "Challenges".....

What is so funny about the whole thing is he is always ready to jump on anyone who defends the teachings of JWs but he says not a word when apostate Christendom teachings are voiced on his own site. A person can believe anything and say anything they want to about how they believe the GT will begin. Any absurd thing they like. But don't voice agreement with JWs about it.

Is that double standards?

Only speak out against JW's teachings. Keep quiet when it comes to Christendom's vomit and take in the aroma.

1 King 18:21 Then Robert approached all the people and said: “How long will YOU be limping upon two different opinions? 22 And Robert went on to say to the people: “I myself have been left as a prophet of Jehovah, I alone, while the Ba´al Watchtowerites are many and I challenge them 24 And they must present their defense of the WT teachings and I, for my part, shall make a challenge and it must occur that if anyone answers the challenge, I will prove them to be wrong.” To this all the people answered and said: “The thing is good.”

29 And many responded to the challenge of Robert 30 At length Robert said to all the people: “Approach me.” So all the people approached him. Then he proceeded to run and hide and did not follow thru with the challenge and all the followers of Robert said: "The thing is good. There is no need to reply to such stupid ones. You are wasting time."
31 At this Robert ask for all their gold and silver and many obliged him for they perceived him a watchman/prophet.

Yes I heard "Watchman throws in the towel"

It seems to be all over the Internet today for some reason.

it's aka ..defending the indefensible...he won't respond because what's he going to say about the two Jerusalem's in Galations? Think about it...anything that anyone could think to say would be ridiculous....(except maybe sorry I was wrong...and that phrase is not part of the apostate thought process) ...and that one scripture 3W posted in response blows a hole in the bulk of everything his apostasy is based on

One can't help but wonder if any of this is registering with any of the "guiless" misled ones over there...

(I don't wonder bad enough to read there to find out though)

The hard core ring leaders ..obviously HAVE to be aware that his Challenge backfired big time...the others hopefully will see through it all before it's too late...3W's latest thread entitled "E-Watchman answers met Challenge in latest essay...Not" is highly recommended for those lurkers who desire to shake the cob-webs off of the brain, that they've been infected with, from the lies he's been LITERALLY peddling....

It's a must read...
